Battlecat Firearms Consulting LLC is dedicated to providing professional firearms training in a secure and encouraging environment. Our courses cater to new gun owners, sports shooters, hunters, security professionals, and individuals seeking self-defense training. We also offer services to assist with building and properly maintaining firearms.  We are committed to ensuring our clients receive top-notch instruction to enhance their skills and knowledge in firearm handling and safety.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Jesse McCrosson, founder of Battlecat Firearms Consulting and a certified NRA instructor, has had a life-long interest in the sport of shooting. His passion for the sport and relentless pursuit of perfection began to attract the attention of friends and family who learned to use firearms under his mentorship. He has since dedicated himself to training both novice shooters and seasoned firearm owners, instilling in them the principles of safety, accuracy, and discipline. Jesse's approachable teaching style, combined with his expertise, makes him a beloved instructor to many. His knowledge in building and maintaining all manner of firearms as well as his attention to legislative  changes in Colorado, has made him a sought-after specialist.

Safety Is Paramount

Please review gear needed for firearms training

  • EYE PROTECTION - Safety glasses are required and must be ANSI-rated to protect against debris.

  • EAR PROTECTION - Earplugs that have a high noise reduction rating (NRR) or over-ear protection that provide higher levels of noise reduction.

  • Long sleeves, pants, and closed-toed shoes or boots are required for safety and comfort.

  • If you are bringing your own firearm, ensure it is in good condition and bring the correct caliber ammo for your firearm.  If you are using the instructor's firearm, there will be an additional fee for the provision of ammo.
